About Alex
Musical theatre trained, Alex has been in shows from A Chorus Line to Grease the musical
regionally across the Bay Area. From working with top regional theatre companies to being in a
documentary with one of the top 10 best selling authors in the country, Some of Alex’s recent
roles and credits are: backup dancer in the documentary movie: Made for More by Rachel Hollis
that can be seen on Amazon Prime, Pitt singer/cut dancer in the regional production of A Chorus
Line with Bay Area Musicals in San Francisco, and ensemble singer/dancer in Grease: the
musical with Mountain Play in San Rafael CA.
Alex Chan has received his BFA in Music Theatre from American Musical and Dramatic
Academy in Los Angeles CA. Also with a certificate of dance from Broadway Dance Center in
New York City, Alex had the privilege to learn from the best with; Ross Chitwood, James Lent,
in Voice to Shelly Hutchinson in Broadway Dance Center.
On days when Alex is not busy trying to be the next Broadway veteran, some of his personal
special skills achieved include being a competitive swimmer who received a junior Olympic time
in the 50 free and can hold a conversation in Cantonese Chinese. Alex looks forward to inspiring
you the wonders of Broadway to the next generation of performing artists.

Alex's Vocal Studio is currently based in Suisun City CA. A private voice lesson with Alex will include: Vocal Technique, Speech Training, Repertoire Coaching, Building your Audition Book, Preparation for College Musical Theatre Auditions, Season Recitals, and Career Counseling. Alex is fully aware and acknowledges that each student is at a different age, level, and has many different goals in one's student life. That's why Alex and the student will work together as a team to tailor each students needs and goals in preparation for tackling on the challenges of all things singing that this world throws at us for from wanting to sing better in front of your parents to wanting to audition for Broadway! Alex can help!
